Toyotaro reveals alternative Dragon Ball Super cover featuring Vegeta's family

Toyotaro, the artist for the Dragon Ball Super manga, has revealed an alternative cover for Volume 19 featuring Vegeta's family. This illustration was created following the results of a fan poll held during Goku Day 2026, titled ‘My Favorite Cover Polly’.

The artwork utilizes a composition that reflects both the present and the past. The foreground depicts Vegeta in his combat attire alongside Bulma, Trunks, and Bra. A reflection in the water reveals the Saiyan royal family from the past, including King Vegeta and Vegeta's brother, Tarble.

Notably, the illustration provides a first glimpse of Vegeta's mother. While her full appearance remains a mystery, her presence is suggested by her hair, hand, and clothing visible beneath King Vegeta's cape. This marks a significant moment for the character, who has not previously appeared in the manga or anime series.
