Toys R Us reopens in Calexico, California

Toys R Us has reopened in Calexico, California, following the closure of its previous large-scale location in 2018. The new branch is situated within the Gran Plaza Outlet.

While the new space is smaller than the former location, it stocks a variety of both nostalgic items and current character-themed toys. The store is operated by eight employees, some of whom expressed personal significance regarding the reopening, noting it was a long-held professional aspiration.

The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
