TP in the Philippines adds AI literacy to STEP training program

TP in the Philippines has expanded its Skills Training to Employment Program (TP STEP) by integrating an Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy component. Developed in partnership with the non-profit CyberGuardiansPH, the enhanced curriculum incorporates AI Ready ASEAN learning modules to prepare participants for the evolving demands of the business process industry.

The 15-day training journey combines foundational and practical knowledge in artificial intelligence, digital responsibility, and emerging workplace technologies with core employability and customer experience skills. The initiative aims to equip trainees with the critical thinking and digital awareness necessary to work alongside automated systems and utilize AI tools responsibly.

Conducted in collaboration with the Pasig local government, the program is designed to create career pathways into the IT-BPM sector for aspiring professionals and local community members, addressing the growing importance of digital transformation in the modern workplace.
