TP-Link expands Tapo smart home lineup with 4K doorbell and robot vacuum
TP-Link has expanded its Tapo smart home lineup with several new hardware releases, including high-resolution security devices and automated cleaning technology.
The Tapo Doorbell Pro D260 is a 4K video doorbell featuring a 180-degree field of view. Designed to compete with Ring, it offers subscription-free local storage via a microSD slot and utilizes on-device machine learning for facial recognition and object detection. The device can be installed wire-free with a rechargeable battery lasting up to 180 days or via hardwiring for continuous recording.
Other new releases include the Tapo RV50 Pro Omni, an automated robot vacuum and mop with 15,000 Pa suction power and anti-tangle technology. For outdoor security, TP-Link introduced the Tapo C575D, a dual-lens rotating camera with 4K resolution, and several solar-powered camera kits, such as the Tapo C660 KIT, which allow for flexible, wire-free installation in outdoor environments.
