TP PKK and Posyandu leaders hold governance and empowerment forum in Bali

Leaders of the TP PKK and Posyandu organizations held a forum in Denpasar, Bali, focused on strengthening organizational governance and family empowerment programs. The event emphasized the importance of effective task distribution, inter-unit coordination, planning, and program evaluation to ensure community benefits.

Tri Tito Karnavian, Chairperson of the Posyandu Advisory Team, highlighted the need to appreciate volunteers. He criticized the implementation of fines for cadres who fail to meet certain targets, stating that such punitive measures are unwise and should be replaced with rewards and appreciation to maintain the spirit of volunteerism.

Selvi Gibran Rakabuming, Patron of TP PKK and Posyandu, stressed the necessity of collaborating with local governments and academics to improve family welfare. Additionally, the forum addressed the role of cadres in protecting women and children from physical and verbal violence, encouraging community awareness and legal support for victims.
