TPBL players Lin Chin-pang and Kao Kuo-hao depart their respective teams

Significant roster changes have been announced in the TPBL. Veteran defender Lin Chin-pang is leaving the New Taipei Kings following the expiration of his contract. Since joining the team in 2022, the 41-year-old Lin was recognized as a key defensive specialist and a veteran leader who helped the franchise secure its first championship.

Additionally, star player Kao Kuo-hao is departing the Hsinchu Lioneers. As a founding member and core player of the team, Kao earned multiple accolades including Rookie of the Year and several selections to the All-Defensive First Team. The Lioneers management stated they respect his decision to seek new challenges and pursue opportunities to play overseas.
