Tper implements winter bus schedule for school reopening

As schools reopen, Tper is implementing its winter schedule starting Tuesday, September 15. This transition involves increasing the frequency of bus services to accommodate the rise in passengers associated with the start of the academic year and increased daily commuting activities.

The service modulation is the result of summer planning conducted in collaboration with the Agenzia per la Mobilità SRM and the Città Metropolitana. Tper noted that while bus schedules are designed based on school institutional guidelines, the first two to three weeks of school may involve a period of adjustment to address potential service issues.

In conjunction with these service changes, road infrastructure in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II has been updated. New horizontal signage has been applied to improve road safety, including mini one-way systems to organize vehicle flow around parking areas and the central fountain. Additionally, new pedestrian crossings have been established to facilitate safer movement between the town hall and the fountain, and designated spaces for extra-urban buses have been clearly redefined.
