Trabia Football Club launch offers free youth soccer program in Sicily

On Sunday, 12 July, the new Città di Trabia Football Club was presented in Piazza Lanza, Trabia, Sicily. The initiative, promoted by R&V Group Ltd and its founder Andrea Pratelli, creates a free‑of‑charge football association for children and adolescents, providing training, equipment, and educational camps without any cost to families.

The project aims to foster social inclusion, respect for rules, and personal growth through sport. It will start with youth categories and eventually develop a senior team, collaborating with local schools and community institutions. Former Italian World Cup champions Fabio Cannavaro and Luca Toni attended as special guests, underscoring the social value of the programme. Local officials, including the mayor of Trabia and regional football representatives, also took part in the launch.
