The Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality City Theater has concluded its 2025-2026 season with a diverse program of performances and educational initiatives. The theater emphasized training, providing drama education to 75 children and hosting an acting program for 76 adult trainees, 50 of whom received certificates after completing a four-month course.
Key productions included ‘Trabzon’un Kayıp Yılları: Muhacirlik’, which was performed 42 times across 11 districts and three local universities. Other notable works included ‘Ayı-Teklif Vesaire’, a collection of seven short plays adapted from the works of Anton Chekhov performed by trainees, and ‘Pinokyo’, which saw eight performances for children. During the summer months, the theater continued its schedule with ‘Ünlü Show’, a production blending nostalgia and modern humor through comedy and live music.
