Trabzon delegation meets with Chinese business leaders for investment talks
A delegation of Chinese business and banking representatives has arrived in Trabzon to explore investment and trade opportunities. The visit follows previous discussions in late July between Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç and the Chinese Ambassador to Ankara, Jiang Xuebin.
During meetings with Deputy Mayor Faruk Kanca, the delegation discussed Trabzon’s strategic location, logistics capabilities, and economic potential. The group includes executives from major organizations such as Bank of China Turkey, China SIAD, China Tianshen Engineering Corp., CRRC, Zoomlion, and Hikvision.
Key areas for potential cooperation include finance, industry, technology, transportation, infrastructure, and trade. As part of their program, the delegation will visit local historical and cultural sites to assess the city’s tourism infrastructure and meet with local business leaders to foster long-term economic ties.
