Trabzon holds 80s‑90s teacher concert and school art exhibit

The Ortahisar District Directorate of National Education and the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality organized an 80s‑90s teacher pop concert on 17 June at the Karadeniz Technical University Festive Area. A 70‑member teacher choir performed nostalgic songs from the 1980s and 1990s, accompanied by period visuals and stage shows, drawing large local attendance.

On the same day the Pelitli 75th Republic Middle School in Ortahisar opened a new music classroom and a student art exhibition featuring roughly 400 works. The opening ceremony was attended by regional education officials, local businesspeople and school leaders, who praised the students' creativity and the school’s cultural initiatives.
