Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality announces winners for new Culture and Art Center project

The Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality has announced the winners of its National Architectural Project Competition for a new Culture and Art Center planned for Atapark. The colloquium and award ceremony were held at the Hamamizade İhsan Bey Culture and Art Center.

Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç emphasized the city's identity as a center for history, culture, and art. He noted that the project is a step toward fulfilling a campaign promise to provide the city with two culture centers to address the current lack of physical spaces for various artistic disciplines. The competition aimed to entrust the technical design to architects, planners, and engineers to ensure the project respects the historical significance of the area.
