Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality invests 45 million TL in Vakfıkebir water infrastructure

The Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality, through the Trabzon Water and Sewerage Administration (TİSKİ), is implementing a new drinking water infrastructure project in the Vakfıkebir district. The project involves the construction of approximately 6,000 meters of new water pipelines to serve five neighborhoods: Körez, Güneyköy, Bozalan, Esentepe, and Yaylacık.

With a contract value of approximately 45 million TL, the investment includes the installation of pipelines of varying pressure classes, one 100-cubic-meter water tank, one pumping station, four air valves, and five discharge chambers. The initiative aims to provide more effective water delivery and create a more resilient infrastructure system for the region.

Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç stated that these infrastructure investments are being expanded across all districts to improve the quality of life for citizens and ensure the long-term stability of the city's water supply.
