Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality provides IVF support to workers

Under a collective bargaining agreement between the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality and the Hizmet-İş Union, 66 workers have received support for IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatments.

The current support includes a gross payment of 116,525 TL per worker. Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç stated that the initiative aims to support the social and economic rights of employees, emphasizing that municipal services extend beyond infrastructure to include the well-being of workers and their families.

The Hizmet-İş Union has presented this model as an example for other municipalities across Turkey to adopt similar social support programs.
