Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality resumes student support services

Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality has resumed social support services for university students at Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) and Trabzon University for the new academic term.

As part of the initiatives led by the Social Services Department, students are provided with free soup and bread on weekdays. At Trabzon University, the service is available between 09:00 and 12:00, while KTU students can access hot soup between 16:00 and 18:00. During exam periods, the municipality also provides simit and cheese to support students during intense study schedules.

Additionally, the free laundry service at the KTU Kanuni Campus has reopened. This facility allows students to wash and dry their clothes at no cost. Students can schedule appointments for the laundry service through the municipality’s official website. The municipality stated that these services aim to help students feel at home while studying in Trabzon.
