Trabzon tourism sites host 493,000 visitors in first eight months of 2026

Four major tourism destinations managed by the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality received a total of 493,012 domestic and foreign visitors during the first eight months of 2026.

The Atatürk Mansion was the most visited site, hosting 312,453 visitors. This was followed by Çal Cave, which welcomed 136,339 people. The Maiden's Monastery and the Trabzon City Museum recorded 25,680 and 18,540 visitors, respectively.

The current eight-month figure represents approximately 82.5% of the total visitor count recorded in the entire year of 2025, which saw 597,938 visitors across these four locations.
