Trabzonspor and Beşiktaş call for end to away fan bans

Trabzonspor and Beşiktaş have issued a joint call to abolish away fan bans in the Trendyol Süper Lig. Ahead of their Week 8 match scheduled for Monday, October 19, in Trabzon, both clubs expressed a desire for their supporters to be able to attend matches in each other's cities.

Trabzonspor initiated the request, stating that there are no issues preventing their fans from supporting the team in Istanbul, nor any obstacles for Beşiktaş fans to attend the match in Trabzon. The club emphasized that away bans do not align with the spirit of football and requested support from the Trabzon Governor's Office and relevant authorities to take necessary steps.

Beşiktaş officially supported the call, emphasizing that fans are a vital element of football. The club stated that supporters of all colors should be able to support their teams in away stands across the country and expressed their wish to welcome Trabzonspor fans to their home stadium.
