Trabzonspor and Samsunspor prepare for Super Lig derby

Trabzonspor is preparing for an upcoming away match against Samsunspor in the 7th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig. Under the management of Coach Reis, the team held a training session at the Mehmet Ali Yılmaz Facilities, focusing on physical conditioning, tactical applications, and decision-making under pressure.

In preparation for the match, Trabzonspor is also scheduled to play a friendly match against Ireland's Drogheda United at Papara Park.

Samsunspor President Yüksel Yıldırım expressed his ambitions for the club, stating that their goal is to become the fifth major club in the league. Addressing challenges, Yıldırım noted difficulties with fan fragmentation and social media criticism, emphasizing that sporting success is the primary way to unify the fanbase. To encourage attendance for the upcoming derby, Samsunspor has implemented special pricing for the Trabzonspor match.
