Trabzonspor begins mid-season transfer planning

Trabzonspor has begun planning its mid-season transfer strategy. Club President Ertuğrul Doğan and head coach Thomas Reis have met to evaluate the squad's needs, with a primary focus on strengthening the midfield.

Coach Reis has specifically requested a dynamic, technical 'number 8' player capable of playing a dual role and facilitating play. The club's scouting team is currently monitoring several candidates to find a player who meets these specific profiles. Additionally, President Doğan aims to add at least one star player to the roster during this period to increase squad depth as the team competes in the Super Lig, UEFA Conference League, Turkish Cup, and Super Cup.

Commentator Cem Dizdar expressed confidence in Reis's potential success with the club, noting that the president's respect for the coach is a positive sign. Dizdar also touched upon local challenges, such as stadium accessibility and ticket pricing, suggesting that on-field success could help mitigate these issues.
