Turkish Süper Lig clubs announce flurry of player signings and departures

Erzurumspor FK confirmed new contracts for coach Serkan Özbalta and five players – Mustafa Yumlu, Eren Tozlu, Orhan Ovacıklı, Sefa Akgün and Cengizhan Bayrak – to compete in the 2026‑2027 Süper Lig season. The club also announced the exits of forward Cheickne Sylla, midfielder Giovanni Crociata and attacker Hüsamettin Yener, while reiterating Yumlu’s renewed role after his earlier stint with the team.

Trabzonspor completed a series of transfers ahead of the new season, signing defender Samet Akaydın on a 2+1‑year contract, midfielder Melih Kabasakal for a fee of 22.5 million TL with a 2+1‑year deal, Metehan Mimaroğlu (1+1‑year) and young forward Thierry Darnel Karadeniz on a five‑year contract. The club also disclosed ongoing negotiations for players such as Riccardo Orsolini, Gianluca Prestianni, Andre Onana and others as it builds a refreshed squad for upcoming league and cup competitions.
