Trabzonspor considers loaning Rene Mitongo to Estrela da Amadora

Trabzonspor is considering a loan move for 18-year-old striker Rene Mitongo to a Portuguese club to facilitate his professional development. The Turkish club reportedly received an official loan offer from Estrela da Amadora.

Mitongo, who was signed from Standard Liège for a transfer fee of 3 million euros, has been included in match squads for both the Trendyol Süper Lig and the UEFA Europa League but has yet to make an official appearance.

While several loan requests have emerged from within Turkey, Trabzonspor management and technical staff are prioritizing an overseas move. The club aims to ensure the young forward gains consistent playing time and tactical experience abroad rather than remaining on the bench.
