Trabzonspor defender Chibuike Nwaiwu will miss the upcoming UEFA Europa League play-off second leg against Ferencvaros due to a red card received during the first match. Nwaiwu was sent off in the closing stages of the initial encounter, which ended in a 1-0 defeat for the Turkish side.

In response to Nwaiwu's absence, manager Fatih Tekke is evaluating defensive adjustments for the return leg in Hungary. Cenk Özkacar, who performed well as a left-sided center-back in the first match, is expected to remain in the lineup. The coaching staff is considering Stefan Savic or Samet Akaydın to partner with Özkacar in the center of the defense.
