Trabzonspor denies any official talks to sign Mohamed Salah

Trabzonspor coach Fatih Tiki told Turkish broadcaster HT Spor that reports linking the club with a move for Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah are unfounded, confirming that no formal negotiations have taken place. Club president Arttugrul Doğan echoed the denial, stating that the media story about an agreement with Salah is false and that the club has not initiated any plan to acquire him.

Salah, who left Liverpool after nine seasons that included Premier League and Champions League titles, remains a free agent this summer. Both officials said that while a player of Salah’s stature would attract interest, any concrete deal with Trabzonspor has not been reached.
