Trabzonspor has secured an additional 2.5 million Euro following Uğurcan Çakır’s appearance in a UEFA Champions League match. The goalkeeper, playing for Galatasaray, met a specific bonus clause triggered by participating in at least one Champions League fixture during the following season.

This bonus brings the total revenue from Çakır’s transfer from Trabzonspor to Galatasaray to 30 million Euro, excluding VAT. This figure places him among the most expensive sales in Süper Lig history, matching the 30 million Euro transfer fees of Ferdi Kadıoğlu to Brighton and Sacha Boey to Bayern Munich.
