Trabzonspor faces selection and suspension risks ahead of Samsunspor match

Trabzonspor faces tactical and disciplinary considerations ahead of their upcoming Trendyol Süper Lig match against Samsunspor. Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu has a strong historical record against Samsunspor, having scored four goals in previous encounters, including a brace in February 2026. His performance and inclusion in the starting lineup remain a key decision for manager Thomas Reis.

Simultaneously, defender Chibuike Nwaiwu is at risk of suspension. Having accumulated three yellow cards, another booking during the Samsunspor match would result in a one-match suspension, making him unavailable for the high-profile derby against Besiktas.
