Trabzonspor supporters attacked in Ergani during travel to Diyarbakır

Ahead of the Amedspor vs. Trabzonspor match in Diyarbakır, buses carrying Trabzonspor supporters were targeted in a stone-throwing attack in the Ergani district. The incident resulted in broken windows on several vehicles and at least one injured supporter.

Following the attack, brief scuffles broke out between fans and in some instances with security forces. Local authorities, including the Diyarbakır Governor's Office, have characterized the incident as an isolated event and urged that it not be attributed to the supporter bases of either club.

The match itself drew significant attention, with the 33,000-capacity Diyarbakır Stadium reaching full capacity. Despite the tension surrounding the travel of away fans, security measures were heightened to ensure the safe passage of supporters to the stadium.
