Turkish football clubs launch 2026‑27 pre‑season training camps

Trabzonspor kicked off its 2026‑27 preparation at the Mehmet Ali Yılmaz facilities on 6 July under coach Fatih Tekke. New signings including Ruslan Malinovskyi, Saviolo and Thierry Karadeniz featured in the first session, and the squad will move to a second‑stage camp in Schladming, Austria from 23 July to 2 August.

Galatasaray will begin its pre‑season a day later at the Kemerburgaz Metin Oktay complex, directed by Okan Buruk. The team will spend 16 days in Istanbul before heading to Windischgarsten, Austria for a camp from 23 July to 29 July, where it will face Italian sides Monza and Venezia. A friendly against Spain’s Villarreal is scheduled for 8 August after the camp.

Both clubs aim to sharpen physical and tactical readiness ahead of the upcoming Trendyol Süper Lig season, European competitions and the Turkish Cup.
