Trabzonspor President reports 100 million Euro player sales

During Trabzonspor’s 61st Ordinary Divan General Assembly, President Ertuğrul Doğan announced that the club has achieved record-breaking player sales, exceeding 100 million Euros within the last year. Doğan emphasized that the club has implemented a robust scouting system involving multiple independent teams to ensure long-term stability.

Regarding the club’s financial standing, Doğan reported a net debt of approximately 2.95 billion Turkish Lira as of August 31. He noted that while the club faced a difficult start to the season, they successfully navigated a strategic planning shift. He also highlighted that the club is working toward acquiring a 102-acre plot of land in Arnavutköy, Istanbul, following instructions from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç attended the meeting, stating that the city remains fully supportive of Trabzonspor and will not allow external interests to exploit the club’s value.
