Trabzonspor midfielder Christ Oulai attracts Europe’s top clubs
Twenty‑year‑old midfielder Christ Oulai, who plays for Turkish club Trabzonspor and represented Ivory Coast at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, has become a transfer target for several European giants. Clubs named include Paris Saint‑Germain, Chelsea, Benfica, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Nottingham Forest and Leipzig, with PSG formally requesting his terms.
Trabzonspor has set a €45 million asking price, added a 20 % sell‑on clause for a future move to Bastia and seeks a further 15 % of any later transfer. The club is handling negotiations carefully to maximise revenue.
Former Ivory Coast defender Kolo Toure praised Oulai after his World Cup showing, saying: "Oulai fantastik bir oyuncu. Oldukça akıllı ve oyunu çok iyi yöneten bir futbolcu. Bence daha fazla gol atması gerekiyor; bunu yapabilecek potansiyele sahip."
The player’s performances have raised his profile both on the pitch and in the transfer market, making him one of Trabzonspor’s most valuable assets.
