Trabzonspor Nears €10‑12 Million Transfer for Benfica Defender Sidny Cabral

Trabzonspor is close to completing the signing of 23‑year‑old right‑back Sidny Cabral from Portuguese club Benfica. Reports say the clubs have finalized the paperwork and expect to make the move official within 24 hours.

The agreement includes an upfront payment of roughly €10 million to Benfica, with an additional €2 million possible bonus tied to Cabral’s performance, while earlier estimates mentioned a fee near €6 million. The Turkish side is reportedly offering a four‑year contract that would give Cabral higher wages than at Benfica, aiming to have him join before the upcoming World Cup.
