Trabzonspor nears deal for Darwin Núñez

Trabzonspor is reportedly nearing a deal to sign Uruguayan striker Darwin Núñez. Negotiations between the Turkish club and the player's current side, Al Hilal, have reportedly reached a stage where most financial and personal terms have been settled, leaving only the final official signatures required.

While Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan previously confirmed interest in the player without guaranteeing a completed deal, recent reports suggest the transfer may proceed as a loan. There are indications that Núñez could arrive in Istanbul as early as August 15 to undergo medical examinations before traveling to Trabzon. If the move is finalized, the striker would potentially reunite with former Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah.
