Trabzonspor player Noah Saviolo injured in friendly loss to Göztepe

Trabzonspor's new signing, Noah Saviolo, suffered an injury during a friendly match against Göztepe, which served as a jubilee match for İsmail Köybaşı. The Portuguese player was forced to leave the pitch in the 20th minute following a challenge from Göztepe goalkeeper Arda, with Metehan Mimaroğlu entering as a substitute.

Göztepe secured a 2-1 victory. Noah Sonko opened the scoring with a penalty in the 45+4 minute after Chibuike Nwaiwu fouled Sinclair Armstrong. Janderson extended the lead in the 50th minute following an error by Trabzonspor goalkeeper Onuralp Çevikkan. Metehan Mimaroğlu eventually scored for Trabzonspor in the 53rd minute to narrow the deficit.

Saviolo, who was transferred from Vitória for €8.5 million, faces medical evaluation to determine the severity of the injury. This incident follows a previous injury to Tim Jabol-Folcaelli, raising concerns for Trabzonspor ahead of the new season.
