Trabzonspor secured a 3-0 away victory against Samsunspor in the seventh week of the Trendyol Süper Lig. Goals were scored by Ernest Muçi, Chibuike Nwaiwu, and Franculino. Despite receiving a red card in the 43rd minute for Melih Kabasakal, Trabzonspor maintained their lead throughout the second half.

The win marks a historic milestone for manager Thomas Reis, who became the second foreign coach in club history to win his first two league matches, and the first to score three or more goals in each of his first two games. Additionally, Mohamed Salah achieved a significant statistical feat, becoming the first player since the 2014-15 season to record 10 goal contributions (7 goals and 3 assists) in his first seven matches of the league.

Following the victory, Trabzonspor has shifted its focus to the UEFA Conference League, beginning preparations for their upcoming match against KuPS in Finland.
