Trabzonspor President updates on Salah transfer and Onana accident

Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan has provided several updates regarding the club’s recent high-profile activities. Following the signing of Mohamed Salah, Doğan noted the transfer has served as a ‘visionary’ move, generating approximately 2 billion interactions and driving season ticket sales to a record 24,750.

Regarding player safety, Doğan confirmed that goalkeeper Andre Onana is in good health after being involved in a minor traffic accident. Onana was taken to a hospital for observation as a precaution but has since been cleared.

Financially, the club has seen significant movement. Doğan reported that player sales have generated 118.5 million euros over the last year, helping to reduce the club’s debt to approximately 1 billion TL. Additionally, the club is currently in discussions regarding a potential transfer for Darwin Nunez, though no agreement has been reached yet.
