Trabzonspor pursues Fabio Silva and welcomes Fabinho

Trabzonspor is actively pursuing several key transfers to strengthen its squad. The club is in negotiations for Portuguese forward Fabio Silva, currently at Borussia Dortmund. Technical Director Fatih Tekke has identified the 24-year-old as a versatile attacking option capable of playing multiple roles in the frontline. While Trabzonspor initially sought a loan deal, Dortmund has expressed interest in a formula including a mandatory purchase option of approximately 12 million Euros. The player is currently considering his career options.

In a separate development, Brazilian midfielder Fabinho has arrived in Trabzon after reaching an agreement with the club. Former player Alanzinho praised the signing, comparing Fabinho’s defensive strength and ball progression to former star Didier Zokora. Fabinho expressed excitement about joining the team and reuniting with former Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah.
