Trabzonspor ramps up transfer activity ahead of pre‑season camp

Trabzonspor is intensifying its recruitment as the new season approaches. The club is monitoring 25‑year‑old Turkish defender Cenk Özkacar, currently on loan at Valencia, as a potential addition to its left‑side defence. Technical director Fatih Tekke’s assessment will decide whether the player joins the squad.

In addition to Özkacar, the team is seeking reinforcements in five areas before its Austria training camp starting 23 July: a right‑winger, a second striker, a centre‑back, a defensive midfielder (the "6" role) and a goalkeeper. The upcoming 10+4 foreign‑player rule has heightened the focus on domestic options, especially for the centre‑back position. The club hopes to resolve most of these targets during the camp period.
