Isaiah Canaan reaches agreement with Trabzonspor

Trabzonspor has reached an agreement to sign American guard Isaiah Canaan. The 35-year-old player, who stands 1.83 meters tall, is expected to join the Turkish club following the successful completion of medical examinations.

Canaan brings extensive experience from both the NBA and the EuroLeague. Between 2013 and 2019, he played 235 NBA games for teams including the Houston Rockets, Philadelphia 76ers, Chicago Bulls, Phoenix Suns, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Milwaukee Bucks. Following his NBA career, he established himself in Europe, playing for Unics Kazan, Galatasaray, Olympiacos, and most recently, Red Star Belgrade.

Trabzonspor, which will compete in the Basketball Champions League in the upcoming season, aims to strengthen its roster with Canaan's scoring ability. During his four seasons in the EuroLeague, Canaan averaged 9.6 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game.
