Trabzonspor seeks departures for Draguş, Mendy, and Lundstram

Trabzonspor is seeking to part ways with several players as part of its squad planning for the new season, including Denis Draguş, Batista Mendy, and John Lundstram. However, negotiations for these departures have faced obstacles.

Romanian club FCSB has expressed interest in Denis Draguş. FCSB President Gigi Becali stated that the club will not pay a transfer fee, insisting that Draguş must first resolve his contract and debt issues with Trabzonspor to become a free agent. Reports indicate FCSB is prepared to offer Draguş a guaranteed annual salary of €500,000, with performance bonuses that could increase his earnings to €1.5 million if the club reaches the main stage of European competitions. Trabzonspor, however, aims to secure a transfer fee rather than releasing him for free.

Regarding other players, Batista Mendy reportedly wishes to leave the club and is awaiting a suitable offer. Meanwhile, John Lundstram has not yet received any serious offers, leading both parties to potentially consider contract termination or other departure formulas. Interest from other Turkish Süper Lig clubs remains limited due to the players' recent performances and salary expectations.
