Trabzonspor striker Paul Onuachu faces heavy workload ahead of Freiburg match

Trabzonspor striker Paul Onuachu is expected to carry the primary offensive burden for his club in their upcoming Conference League match against Freiburg. Due to injuries to Franculino Dju and the absence of Umut Nayir and Ali Habeşoğlu from the UEFA list, Onuachu is the team's only natural center-forward available for the fixture.

Following a recent return from injury in a 2-0 win over Gaziantep FK, Onuachu was substituted in the 63rd minute. Manager Thomas Reis reportedly made the early substitution to manage the player's physical condition and prepare him for the intense schedule.

Commentator Serkan Genc expressed confidence that the Nigerian international, who was the Super Lig top scorer last season, will rediscover his scoring form despite a slow start to the current campaign. Trabzonspor currently holds six points in the Conference League after victories against KuPS and Hearts.
