Trabzonspor targets Alexander Sørloth and Erik Botheim

Trabzonspor is actively pursuing several options to strengthen its forward line. Reports indicate that the Turkish club has made an inquiry regarding Alexander Sørloth, currently with Atletico Madrid. While a transfer is considered difficult due to Atletico Madrid's expected fee of 25-30 million euros and Sørloth's salary expectations of at least 10 million euros per year, Trabzonspor may consider a loan deal.

In a separate move, Trabzonspor has reportedly made an official offer to Malmö FF for 26-year-old Norwegian striker Erik Botheim. The Swedish club is also being pursued by the Greek side PAOK. Botheim, who has scored 10 goals in 17 appearances for Malmö this season, remains under contract until 2027. Negotiations between Trabzonspor and Malmö are ongoing, though no agreement has yet been reached.
