Trabzonspor accelerates loan bid for Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare from Wolverhampton

Trabzonspor is intensifying efforts to acquire 25‑year‑old Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare. The club has submitted a formal loan offer to Wolverhampton Wanderers that includes an option to purchase, and reports suggest the two sides have reached a substantial agreement on the loan structure.

In parallel, Arokodare has met with teammate Paul Onuachu, who provided details about Trabzonspor and the city, a discussion that is said to have positively influenced the transfer process. The Turkish side is working on salary terms estimated at around €4 million per year and aims to finalise the deal before the start of pre‑season training.

Arokodare, who previously played for Genk in Belgium and has experience in the Premier League with Wolverhampton, would strengthen Trabzonspor’s attacking options for the upcoming season.
