Trabzonspor targets Norwich City forward Mohamed Toure
Trabzonspor has initiated negotiations to acquire Mohamed Toure, a 22-year-old Australian forward currently playing for Norwich City. The club is seeking to bolster its attacking line with a player who offers more mobility and involvement in play than a traditional center-forward.
Technical Director Fatih Tekke has reportedly given a positive assessment of Toure, highlighting his physical strength, athleticism, and ability to contribute to high pressing.
The club’s primary strategy is a loan deal that includes an option to buy. Trabzonspor management is reportedly working to ensure the purchase option is not mandatory, but rather contingent upon specific performance-based conditions. Toure, who has a market value of approximately 8 million euros, is under contract with Norwich City until 2030.
