Tractor coach Javad Nekounam reacts to loss against Al Ain

Tractor head coach Javad Nekounam commented on his team's 2-1 defeat against Al Ain in the AFC Champions League. Nekounam stated that while Tractor controlled the game for approximately 70 minutes and forced Al Ain into a defensive posture, the opponent's professionalism and tactical intelligence secured them the victory.

Nekounam noted that Tractor conceded an early goal due to an error and later conceded a second goal following a moment of surprise from the opposition. He highlighted several challenges facing his squad, including the absence of three key players and injuries to two star players, as well as logistical issues regarding travel and player shortages.

Comparing the two sides, the coach observed that Al Ain's roster consists almost entirely of foreign players, whereas Tractor faces different structural difficulties. He expressed confidence in his team's ability to defeat any opponent if playing at home in front of their 80,000 supporters.
