Tractor SC coach sidelines Alireza Beiranvand over club criticism

Tractor SC head coach Javad Nekounam has excluded goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand from the squad ahead of the team's AFC Champions League match against Al-Shamal in Oman. The decision follows controversial remarks made by Beiranvand regarding the club's internal management and financial situation.

Following a 1-1 draw against Esteghlal, Beiranvand criticized the club's leadership, stating that players had received only approximately 7 percent of their contract payments. He urged the club owner to address internal issues rather than focusing on controversies. Beiranvand also commented on his future, suggesting he would decide on his next team after completing his military service.

Tractor CEO Hojat Karimi responded to the comments by stating that Beiranvand's contract remains valid and that the player is expected to remain with the club after his service. The club has referred the matter to its disciplinary committee, and Nekounam has maintained a firm stance against the player's recent conduct.
