Tractor Supply announces Animal Days event and shelter donations

Tractor Supply Company has launched its Animal Days event, running through August 23. The retailer is offering deals on pet essentials, including treats, toys, and nutrition. As part of the celebration, Tractor Supply and Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation are donating a total of $255,000 to 51 animal shelters across the United States.

Separately, the upcoming National Dog Day on August 26 serves as a reminder of animal welfare efforts. Founded in 2004 by Colleen Paige, the day was originally established to promote rescue awareness and honor working dogs. The holiday coincides with significant trends in U.S. animal shelters, where millions of dogs and cats enter the rescue system annually.
