Stellar to host $1 B of private credit tokenized by Tradable

Tradable, a platform for real‑world asset tokenization, announced plans to move up to $1 billion of private‑credit assets onto the Stellar blockchain. The rollout will begin with $500 million of notional value and scale to the full amount, though no launch date has been set. Tradable already tokenized about $1.7 billion across nearly 30 institutional‑grade private‑credit positions, previously on the ZKsync layer‑2 network. Stellar will provide compliance tooling, investor onboarding and asset‑lifecycle management to meet institutional requirements. Denelle Dixon, CEO of the Stellar Development Foundation, said the deal reflects growing interest from regulated investors. The partnership is part of a broader surge in tokenized real‑world assets, a market now exceeding $34 billion, with private credit accounting for roughly 44 % of that value. Other institutions such as the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation and MoneyGram are also expanding their involvement with Stellar, underscoring the network’s push into institutional finance.
