Trade Republic net profit rises sevenfold to €232.6 million

Berlin-based fintech Trade Republic reported a significant increase in profitability for its 2024-25 fiscal year, which ended in September 2025. The company’s net profit rose nearly sevenfold to approximately €232.6 million, up from €34.8 million the previous year.

This growth was primarily driven by a surge in commission income from securities trading, which reached roughly €733 million, more than doubling from €316 million in the prior year. This increase occurred during the final full financial year before the expiration of Germany’s payment-for-order-flow (PFOF) exemption. While administrative expenses rose by 87% to €419.8 million due to investments in marketing and technology, the cost-to-income ratio improved from 83% to 62%.

As of the end of 2025, Trade Republic reported over 10 million customers and approximately €150 billion in assets under management. In December 2025, the company reached a valuation of €12.5 billion following a €1.2 billion secondary share transaction involving investors such as Founders Fund, GIC, Fidelity, Wellington, and the Arnault family.
