Trader Joe's adds Italian frozen pasta primavera and other new items to US shelves

Trader Joe's has introduced a new frozen pasta primavera, a vegetarian dish featuring zucchini, red bell peppers and broccoli. The twisted strozzapreti pasta is imported from Italy and sold for $4.49 per 16‑ounce package, with customers suggesting a sprinkle of Parmesan to finish the meal.

The retailer’s August product rollout also includes a limited‑time Sheepish Pesto cheese made in Spain, pineapple‑coconut frozen bars, Middle‑Eastern style kebabs, and a chicken‑salad croissant sandwich, among other items. Prices range from $3.79 for a six‑count box of bars to $6.99 for a 12‑ounce bag of kebabs.
