Tradiții Argeșene Festival returns to Corbeni for 13th edition

The 13th edition of the ‘Tradiții Argeșene’ festival is scheduled to take place from August 21 to 23, 2026, in Corbeni, Argeș. The event aims to celebrate Romanian traditions, customs, and heritage through various interactive experiences.

Activities include live concerts, village dances, and traditional food prepared using methods such as the ‘proțap’ and ‘ceaun’. Local artisans will host interactive workshops demonstrating traditional crafts, including blacksmithing, pottery, willow weaving, and the making of ‘opinci’ (traditional footwear).

The festival will also feature stilt walkers in festive attire and various competitions, such as wood cutting, nail hammering, and blindfolded traditional food tastings. The event is expected to attract international visitors and will conclude with a fireworks display.
