Traditional community festivals held in Groß-Rohrheim and Rosenberg

Traditional community festivals are being celebrated in several German locations. In Groß-Rohrheim, the Kerweverein RARA organized the annual Kerb, which commenced with the traditional raising of the Kerwe tree. Mayor Karsten Krug officially opened the festivities by tapping a beer keg. This year's event featured a new metal device to assist in raising the tree and a relocated seating area to accommodate more spectators.

In Rosenberg, the 46th annual Kirwa festival has also begun. The celebrations include an ecumenical service, the raising of the tree, traditional music, and various culinary offerings. The event features local Kirwa couples and serves as a significant regional tradition.
